Overview
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Night Auditor, where your energy and attention to detail will ensure seamless overnight operations and exceptional guest experiences. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact during nighttime hours, managing front desk responsibilities, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring the safety and security of the property. Your proactive approach and hospitality expertise will help maintain our hotel’s reputation for outstanding service while supporting smooth administrative functions through accurate record-keeping and nightly audits.
Duties
- Welcome guests arriving during overnight hours with professionalism and warmth, providing excellent customer service and guest relations.
- Manage the front desk using hotel management software such as Auto Clerk ensuring check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and billing are processed accurately.
- Conduct nightly audits to reconcile all financial transactions, update reports, and prepare daily summaries for management review.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, or emergencies promptly while adhering to hotel emergency procedures to ensure safety and satisfaction.
- Answer multi-line phone systems with proper phone etiquette, directing calls efficiently and professionally.
- Monitor security systems like CCTV cameras and perform routine safety checks to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff.
- Document incidents or irregularities during the shift through detailed shift reports, maintaining thorough records for accountability.
- Setting up breakfast bar to be able to open in the morning.
- Other duties as assigned and able to work sister property as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort setting.
- Familiarity with night audit procedures and hotel management systems such as Auto Clerk or similar PMS is highly preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest services standards, and hospitality best practices.
- Experience working with multi-line phone systems and demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Previous resort experience or working in a high-volume hotel environment will be advantageous.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting.
