- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, adjustments, and part replacements to prevent breakdowns
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems using technical manuals and diagnostic procedures
- Repair or replace defective parts, ensuring all work meets safety standards and quality expectations
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for compliance and tracking purposes
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize repair tasks and minimize downtime during operational hours
Experience
- Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar technical repair role
- Familiarity with electrical testing tools, especially ohmmeters, for accurate diagnostics
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting
- Good communication skills to document work performed clearly and accurately
