Project Supervisor – Solar Detach & Reinstall

We are a growing solar detach and reinstall company that partners with roofing contractors throughout the DFW area. We are looking for a dependable Project Supervisor who can keep projects organized, crews productive, and materials accounted for.
Position Summary
The Project Supervisor is responsible for overseeing field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to our quality standards. This role serves as the primary point of coordination between the installation crew, office staff and suppliers.
The ideal candidate is organized, communicates well, takes initiative, and enjoys solving problems before they become delays.
Responsibilities
· Supervise daily field operations and ensure jobs stay on schedule.
· Communicate with installation crews on-site.
· Record employee attendance and daily labor hours accurately.
· Track all materials used on each project.
· Pick up and deliver materials from suppliers as needed.
· Drive the company vehicle safely and responsibly.
· Maintain real-time job updates in our CRM.
· Communicate proactively with the office regarding project progress, delays, change orders, and material needs.
· Conduct quality control inspections throughout each project.
· Ensure crews follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized job site.
· Verify all required tools, equipment, and materials are available before work begins.
· Professionally communicate with homeowners when necessary, answering questions and representing the company with courtesy and respect.
· Document project progress with photos and notes.
· Identify potential issues early and develop solutions before they impact the schedule.
· Complete final walkthroughs to verify workmanship meets company standards.
Qualifications
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).
· Ability to operate a company van safely.
· Previous construction, roofing, or solar experience highly preferred but not necessary. There will be thorough training once hired - the most important skills needed for this job are communication, documentation and reliability.
· Leadership or supervisory experience helpful
· Strong communication and organizational skills.
· Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and CRM software.
· Ability to prioritize multiple projects and adapt to changing schedules.
· Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
· Ability to climb ladders and work comfortably on residential roofs.
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
