Auto Body Technician — Crone's Auto Body | Northern Kentucky
$25–$30/hr | Full-time | Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm
We've been fixing cars in Northern Kentucky since 1949. Family owned, three generations. We're not a franchise, we're not a DRP shop, and we're not going to tell you how to do your job.

The job
Your bay, your work, your pace. Monday through Friday, 8 to 5 with an hour for lunch, no weekends. We run a steady flow of 10–15 cars a week — enough to keep you busy, not enough to make you cut corners. We're non-DRP, which means we write the repair the car actually needs and we follow OEM procedures to get it done right.
The shop
Currently three body techs, one painter, and support staff. The owner is here every day. Nobody's managing you from a spreadsheet.
- Chief frame machine and measuring system
- Chief MI200T resistance welder
- Two paint booths — GFS and Garmat
What we pay and what we offer
$25–$30 per hour, hourly wage — not flat rate.
We cover 60% of your health insurance premium — which isn't standard at shops our size. If you've been going without or paying out of pocket, that changes here. Plus paid time off, paid holidays, and a 401(k).
What we need
Someone who can handle structural and non-structural work independently, start to finish. No certifications required. If you've been doing this long enough to know what you're doing, we want to hear from you.
