Job Summary
We are seeking a PRN (as-needed) Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) or RN to work with us. We are a DME company that specializes in CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) therapy. In this vital role, you will provide expert care to patients requiring CPAP support, ensuring optimal treatment outcomes and patient comfort. This position offers flexible scheduling to accommodate varying patient needs and allows you to make a meaningful difference in patient's CPAP compliance.
Responsibilities
- Educate patients on proper use of CPAP machines, including mask fitting, pressure settings, and maintenance procedures to ensure compliance and comfort.
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CPAP devices and related respiratory equipment with precision and care.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, device settings, and treatment outcomes accurately within our electronic health records (EHR) program.
- Respond promptly to requests of patient outreach.
Skills
