Powder Coater
1st Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday, Overtime as needed.
Job Duties
- Powder coat parts in paint booth
- Handle and load and unload all products in an efficient manner
- Maintain the quality and integrity of the products by following established quality standards and guideline
- Perform all job duties with a sense of urgency
- Interact and communicate positively with team members and management.
- Assist with problem detection, problem-solving, and ways to increase productivity
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in area and throughout the plant
- Maintain a quick, efficient pace throughout the shift
- Keep equipment in working order and report equipment issues immediately
- Prepare and hang parts for paint
- Eliminate waste with product/scrap, process, and effort
- Be willing to assist in various work areas
- Keep an open mind regarding new procedures, assignments, criticism, etc.
- Ability to work independently to achieve desired results. Self-directed
- Must be able to focus and stay on task throughout shift
- Learn quickly and retain information effectively
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Prior powder coating experience
- Good Attendance is a priority
- Must be able to remain standing/on feet throughout shift
- Ability to lift 50 pounds with assistance if needed
- Ability to bend and twist
- Ability to repetitively lift and extend above shoulder level
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
