We are currently hiring a Press Operator for a well-established rubber manufacturing company in Fletcher, NC. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a consistent schedule and the potential for long-term employment.
Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Overtime: Fridays, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (as needed and announced in advance by the supervisor)
Operate compression presses to mold rubber parts.
Read and follow manufacturing work instructions.
Produce quality parts while meeting production standards.
Perform quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
Package and move finished parts as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to read and follow written manufacturing instructions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Ability to stand for a 10-hour shift.
Dependable with a strong work ethic.
Willingness to learn and take direction.
Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience is a plus but not required.
