Manager, Program Venue Technology
Venue Technology (VTS) is responsible for the integration and planning of technology services across all Olympic and Paralympic Games venues, as well as the delivery of audio-visual (AV) equipment and services. Additionally, Venue Technology leads the Technology Equipment Allocation Process (TEAP), which ensures demand from other Functional Areas (FA) across the Organizing Committee (OC) is planned and managed to align with needs and budget.
Venue Technology comprises of a Central Team as well as Manager, Venue Technology (VTM) assigned to each Games venue. As a member of the Central Team, this role will support Program Management and monitoring across the different phases of the program lifecycle.
Support the program management and reporting function for VTS, interfacing with other key FA's including Venues and Infrastructure, Planning and Programs, Energy and Logistics.
Provide administrative and operational support across VTS functions, including change control, internal communications, mobilization, and logistics.
Background and Requirements
5+ years of experience in technology project management, or 3 years of program management, ideally within live events, venue operations, or large-scale infrastructure environments.
Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate procedural information into clear, concise, and actionable language for diverse audiences (technical teams, vendors, and non-technical stakeholders).
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.
Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.
The annual base salary range for this position is $88,000 - $115,000. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28's operational business needs and applicable law.
