Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense methadone & suboxone to clients as per physician orders and clinic policies
- Monitor and assess clients before and after dosing for any adverse reaction ot health concerns
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in medical records, including dosage, patient response, and incident reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Observe and uphold chain of custody and controlled substance handling protocols
- Provide basic health education related to substance use recovery, medication adherence, and harm reduction strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and communicate effectively with clinical, counseling, and administrative staff
- Assist in managing inventory of controlled substances and ensure accurate logs and reconciliations
- Respond to medical emergencies and administer basic first aid or CPR as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and confidential clinical environment
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including ICU or trauma centers), nursing homes, or outpatient clinics.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding systems (ICD-9/10).
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation.
- Skilled in patient assessment techniques including vital signs measurement and physical examinations.
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and safety.

Pay: $28.97 - $34.89 per hour
