ABOUT THE ROLE
The AGM Customer Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for Daramic’s U.S. and North American Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) customers. Daramic supplies separator materials used inside batteries; separators are critical components that sit between the positive and negative plates to help prevent short circuits. In this role, the Coordinator helps customers understand and resolve questions related to separator materials, AGM products, deliveries, documentation, testing, and product performance. The position works closely with customer service, logistics, manufacturing, supplier quality, technology labs, and quality teams to investigate concerns, coordinate root-cause analysis and corrective actions, communicate updates clearly, and ensure issues are closed in a timely and customer-focused manner.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Firm understanding of quality from manufacturing through customer delivery
- Ability to interact directly with Daramic teams and Daramic customers
- Strong English language skills with the ability to communicate clearly at all levels of the business in both oral and written platforms
- General familiarity with customer satisfaction best practices including issue resolution
- Leadership – Ability to lead and drive teams to execute without direct reporting structure
- Data analytics and a firm understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite of tools
- Understanding of facility operations, customer databases, and logistics operations
- IATF/ISO 14001/ISO9001 – Internal auditor certification is preferred.
- Core understanding of AGM, lead batteries, & separator technologies is a plus
EXPECTATIONS
- Lead as coordinator and act as the interface between U.S./North American customer base and Daramic for quality, customer service, logistics or other concerns as they arise
- Effectively communicate issues to the respective Daramic site with necessary relevant information about concerns
- Collect the plant/supplier responses (RCA, Action plan) from respective teams, validate and respond back to customers proactively and close the loop with any and all issues identified
- Record all the quality concerns and customer related communication at Daramic designated platform.
- Connect with U.S. warehouse team for Logistic related issues including but not limited to storage, packaging, labeling, invoice errors etc.
- Handle the claim as per DCP (Daramic Core Process) compliance.
- For AGM products, act as coordinator between the customer base, Daramic and AGM supplier(s)
- Spearhead requirements associated with AGM sales in the US/North America market such as PPAP, audits, audit observation closure, initial sample requests, and product testing at technology labs
- Conduct meetings with internal teams, customers, and/or with Suppliers for various topics as required.
- Perform troubleshooting of various lab equipment’s to determine and fix errors if/when they happen.
- Testing the performance of Daramic’ s separator materials and AGM based on key test criteria for performance.
- Coordinate with all DTC/ITC labs for performing different types of material tests.
- Analyzing, maintaining, and compiling data in a meaningful way.
- As necessary, define testing requirements, recommend changes in test methods or equipment for review.
- Coordinate for IATF, ISO documentation, internal/external audits and ensure certificate of compliance.
- Document, track and report out on customer satisfaction performance across the US/North American customer base
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Education: Minimum associate degree and BS degree preferred
Professional experience: 3 – 5 years of customer handling experience
