We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Crop Specialist to join our agricultural team. This role is essential in ensuring the effective management of crop production processes and equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in agriculture and farming, along with hands-on experience in various technical skills related to crop production. Wages per year will be discussed in the interview.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations related to crop production ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery, including heavy equipment.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge for equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to implement effective farming strategies.
Requirements
- Supervising experience in an agricultural or farming environment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery operation and repair.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and heavy equipment safely.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- Basic math skills for measuring inputs and outputs accurately.
