Job Responsibilities for Service Technician / Apprentice:
Performing, or learning to perform:
- Mechanical repairs
- General boat maintenance
- Diagnostics on boats, motors, trailers.
- Prepare new and used boats for sale.
- Assist with launch and haul of boats to marina docks.
- Opportunities to advance and attain technical certifications such as Fuel Systems, Ignition, Electrical, & Transmission.
- Providing Direct Customer Service to Service and Resort Customers in Store.
- Boat Bottom Cleaning / Pressure Washing
Basic Requirements of Service Technician / Apprentice:
- Working knowledge of gasoline engines (automotive or other).
- Marine knowledge or experience preferred, but not required. Will train applicants from other service backgrounds.
- Basic computer skills.
- An understanding of efficiency and time management.
- Must be organized, detail oriented, with good communication skills.
