JOB SUMMARY
MD Prime Logistics is hiring professional CDL-A OTR Solo Company Drivers to join our transportation team.
We are looking for dependable, safety-conscious, and professional drivers who are ready to run OTR, maintain strong communication with Dispatch and Safety, and take proper care of company equipment and freight.
This position is specifically for solo company drivers operating company-provided tractors with 53' dry van trailers throughout the Lower 48 states.
COMPENSATION
- $0.70–$0.75 per mile
- Consistent OTR miles
- Weekly pay
- Final CPM rate is determined based on experience, qualifications, driving record, safety history, and company approval
EQUIPMENT & OPERATION
- Company-provided tractor
- 53' dry van trailers
- OTR operations throughout the Lower 48 states
- Fuel card provided
- ELD-equipped trucks
- Company Dispatch and Safety support
- Professionally maintained equipment
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer on assigned OTR routes.
- Pick up, transport, and deliver freight safely and on schedule.
- Perform required pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Immediately report mechanical defects, equipment damage, maintenance concerns, and unsafe operating conditions.
- Maintain accurate Hours-of-Service records using the company's ELD system.
- Comply with applicable DOT and FMCSA regulations and MD Prime Logistics safety policies.
- Review bills of lading, load information, trailer information, seal information, and other required shipping documentation.
- Maintain proper control and security of the tractor, trailer, cargo, fuel card, ELD, keys, permits, and other company-issued property.
- Protect freight while it is under the driver's control and immediately report cargo damage, shortages, seal discrepancies, or other irregularities.
- Maintain professional and timely communication with Dispatch, Safety, shippers, receivers, and customers.
- Immediately report accidents, roadside inspections, citations, breakdowns, CDL status changes, and other safety-related incidents.
- Submit required trip paperwork and delivery documentation accurately and on time.
- Keep assigned equipment reasonably clean and in professional condition.
- Follow company procedures regarding accidents, inspections, breakdowns, maintenance, freight, and equipment.
DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must:
- Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
- Meet applicable DOT and FMCSA driver qualification requirements.
- Maintain the medical qualification required to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
- Meet applicable DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements.
- Maintain an acceptable driving and safety record.
- Understand and comply with Hours-of-Service and ELD requirements.
- Be capable of safely operating a tractor-trailer in long-haul OTR conditions.
- Be willing to operate throughout the Lower 48 states.
- Maintain professional communication with Dispatch and Safety.
- Be responsible, dependable, safety-conscious, and respectful of company equipment and freight.

Drivers must operate legally, safely, and professionally at all times. MD Prime Logistics prohibits the falsification of ELD records, violations of applicable Hours-of-Service regulations, and the knowing operation of unsafe equipment.
No delivery schedule or mileage expectation takes priority over safe and lawful operation.
Every driver is expected to properly inspect assigned equipment, promptly report safety or maintenance concerns, protect company property and freight, and represent MD Prime Logistics professionally while on the road.
