Arconic Tennessee Operations has an opportunity for a Labor Relations HR Business Partner . This opening is located at one of the most modern aluminum fabricating facilities in the world. This position is responsible for providing advice and counsel to internal partners on labor relations, HR policies, and programs related to employee engagement, job assignment and progression, talent planning, and other general human resource topics. The incumbent communicates continually with all levels of personnel and management in Operations, Maintenance, and Staff departments, as well as with Union representatives, the Union Bargaining Committee, the Plant Manager, HR staff, and the internal Legal and Compliance team.
Major Job Duties:
Responsible for taking action to ensure that all employment practices under his/her control, including hiring, promotions, demotions, and discipline are conducted in compliance with applicable collective bargaining agreements, equal employment opportunity laws and regulations, and Arconic policy and values.
Stay current with local, state, and federal laws, rules, regulations, and statutes governing equal employment opportunity practices.
