DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with Head Grower and Assistant Head Grower in managing all aspects of harvesting including: cleaning/prepping of cure area, cutting plants, defanning plants, sorting plant waste, weighing plants, cleaning of the flower room post-harvest, and refilling the room with veg plants of a productions scale cannabis facility.
- Assuring all cannabis products are free from contamination risk at all stages; from propagation to harvest.
- Directs the team in carrying out procedures and schedules.
- Preparing and managing the team in tracking all activities and work performed in production spreadsheets: including plant tagging and tracking, waste tracking, harvest entry, and harvest batch tracking.
- Knowledge and understanding of local and state regulations, with an emphasis on continual learning and sharing knowledge with the team.
- Collaboratively leading or creating and constantly Improving our standard work procedures towards the highest quality plant output.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 1 year of industry experience.
- Strong understanding and identification of cannabis health issues.
- Leadership experience, working with a team of individuals, from a variety of backgrounds.
- Experience with cannabis track-and-trace software such as METRC is a plus.
- Basic aptitude with Google Suite products.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Effective time management and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age and withhold a current MED Badge.
