CMM/Metrology Technician (Inspection layout)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Take and record part measurements and conditions.
- Operate metrology laboratory equipment including, but not limited to, mechanical and electro-mechanical measuring devices, calipers, micrometers, bench-testing, etc.
- Computerized data acquisition systems and personal computers.
- Collect, compile, analyze, report, transmit and store measurement data as required.
- Maintain accurate and orderly files of measurement data and work requests.
- Perform first piece layouts and final inspections.
- Assist in maintenance of equipment and facilities.
- Each employee has the authority to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities relating to the product, process, quality system, and has the authority to correct further work on non-conforming products.
- Capable of providing support as requested by supervisor.
JOB RESPONSIBILTY:
- CMM-Operating software is QC Manager
- Strong Knowledge of Blueprints and Engineering Drawing
- Strong Knowledge of GD&T
- Use of laboratory measuring tools such as micrometers, height gages, etc.
- Strong Knowledge of simple machining processes
- Operating Skills in the use of Microsoft Word Programs
- 5-8 years of relevant work experience preferred.

SALARY:
$22 hour to $34.00 dollars an hour
Hours are 7:00 am - 5:30 pm Monday through Friday.
