Duties
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, accurately, and with enthusiasm, including wine and drink service
- Set up banquet tables with appropriate linens, utensils, glassware, according to event specifications
- Clear tables promptly while maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout service
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting spaces for upcoming events to ensure smooth transitions
- Serve plated meals, buffets, hors d'oeuvres, desserts, and beverages according to club standards
- Clear tables efficiently while maintaining a clean dining area throughout the event.
- Refill water, coffee, wine, and other beverages as appropriate
- Work closely with managers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
- Maintain knowledge of event menus and ingredients to answer guest questions
- Handle member and guest requests promptly and courteously
- Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting banquet equipment as needed
- Perform side work before, during, and after events
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or catering environment is highly preferred
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food handling, serving techniques, and beverage service standards
- Familiarity with beverage knowledge and wine service etiquette is a plus
- Experience in banquet settings or restaurants is desirable but not required; training will be provided if necessary
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
- Team-oriented with a willingness to assist wherever needed
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift trays, and move quickly during busy service times
