Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure an outstanding customer experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage POS systems to access orders accurately and efficiently
- Develop beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to enhance guest satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment to ensure smooth bar operations
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending, especially in fine dining or upscale environments, is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods
- Familiarity with beverage recipe development, wine knowledge, brewing techniques, and craft beer trends
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities
- Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and accurate order processing
- Experience in food industry roles such as food service or catering is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Previous experience with banquet or large-scale event service is a plus
