Overview:
Trucks Plus is seeking a skilled and reliable Fleet Installer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing equipment and accessories in customer fleet vehicles. This is a hands-on role requiring mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Install fleet-related components (e.g., ladder racks, van shelving, trucks accessories and 12V electrical installation) in a variety of vehicles
· Read and interpret installation diagrams and technical manuals
· Ensure all installations meet safety standards and company specifications
· Troubleshoot and resolve installation or performance issues
· Maintain accurate records of installations, parts used, and work completed
· Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED
· Experience in vehicle installation, automotive electronics, or a related field
· Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions (standing, kneeling, under vehicles)
Preferred Skills:
· Experience with commercial fleet vehicles
