Basement & Radon Solutions is a growing leader in crawlspace encapsulation, basement waterproofing, exterior drainage service, foundation repair, radon mitigation, and moisture control throughout Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina. What You'll Do:
As a Crawlspace & Basement Waterproofing Technician, you will work with a professional crew installing systems that protect homeowners from water damage, mold, structural issues, and poor indoor air quality.
Responsibilities include:
- Crawlspace encapsulation and vapor barrier installation
- Basement waterproofing and drainage system installation
- Sump pump and perimeter drainage system installation
- Dehumidifier installation and moisture control solutions
- Foundation repair assistance, including pier systems and wall stabilization
- Radon mitigation support and system installation assistance
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Reading and following work orders and installation specifications
- Communicating with homeowners and crew leaders professionally
- Assisting with English/Spanish translation for customers and team members
- Maintaining a clean and safe job site
- Following OSHA safety standards and company procedures
Qualifications
- Carpentry skills is a plus
- Fluent in both English and Spanish is a plus
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction, waterproofing, foundation repair, home services, landscaping, or related trades
- Installation of sump pumps, dehumidifiers and radon systems is a plus
- Comfortable working in crawlspaces, basements, and confined spaces
- Able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds regularly
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Dependable, punctual, honest, and team-oriented
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Travel to job sites in company owned trucks throughout Western North Carolina
