LPN Floor Nurse
Job Summary:
Monument Healthcare and Nursing Center, a premier skilled nursing and assisted living facility, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Scottsbluff, NE. As an LPN Floor Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, promoting a safe and positive environment, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and performing treatments as ordered by physicians
Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
Monitor patients' conditions and report changes to physicians and other healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care and treatment
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to promote patient safety and satisfaction
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control guidelines
Requirements:
Current LPN licensure in the state of Nebraska
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
0+ years of experience as an LPN, with a focus on gerontological care
Possess strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
