Laundry Aide
Job Summary

As a Laundry Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our patients' living quarters.
Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, and wash patient laundry, including bed linens, towels, and clothing
- Operate industrial washing machines and dryers to ensure efficient and effective cleaning
- Fold, iron, and package clean laundry for distribution to patients and staff
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, adhering to infection control standards
- Monitor laundry supply levels and report inventory needs to management
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure timely delivery of clean laundry to patients
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- 0 years of experience in a healthcare setting (on-the-job training provided)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift, carry, and move laundry bags and supplies (up to 50 lbs.)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
