Mountain Park HOA is seeking a reliable, motivated Facilities Technician I to help maintain one of the Portland metro area's premier planned communities. This position is ideal for someone with experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, property maintenance, landscaping, construction, or general handyman work who enjoys variety in their workday. No two days are exactly alike. You may be repairing equipment, maintaining pools, assisting with landscaping, preparing spaces for community events, or responding to maintenance requests throughout our Clubhouse and community amenities.

What You'll Do
As a Facilities Technician I, you'll help keep our community operating safely and efficiently by:
- Performing general building and facility maintenance, including minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and equipment repairs.
- Completing preventative maintenance tasks to keep building systems operating efficiently.
- Monitoring community amenities to ensure they remain clean, safe, and compliant with facility policies.
- Performing routine pool chemical testing and maintaining water quality standards.
- Troubleshooting maintenance issues and completing work orders in a timely manner.
- Assisting with grounds and landscape maintenance around the Clubhouse and common areas.
- Setting up and taking down furniture and equipment for meetings, programs, and community events.
- Maintaining maintenance records, inspections, and supply documentation.
- Providing courteous customer service while interacting with residents, vendors, contractors, and coworkers.
- Assisting the Member Services team with weekend coverage when needed.
- Participating in Mountain Park HOA's Emergency Response Team rotation.
Schedule and Hours
This position's primary schedule will include working weekends, both Saturday and Sunday, to provide support during those non-standard hours. Other hours and days worked can be determined based on the candidate’s availability and business need. Your schedule will be fairly consistent week to week, with some variation based on project needs.

What We're Looking For
Successful candidates will have:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Six months or more of experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, construction, landscaping, custodial maintenance, property maintenance, or a related trade.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, landscaping, and general repair techniques.
- Experience safely operating hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize work and stay organized while working independently.
- Positive attitude with strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn maintenance software and technology.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures.
- Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements
This is an active, physically demanding position. Team members should be comfortable:
- Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing ladders, and working at heights.
- Regularly lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 100 pounds with appropriate equipment or assistance.
- Working indoors and outdoors throughout the year in varying weather conditions.
- Working around mechanical equipment, pool chemicals, landscaping equipment, and maintenance tools while following established safety procedures.
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
