Essential Job Functions:
-
Assist with basic lubrication, electrical, and mechanical PM
-
Follow and complete tasks on established PM schedules
-
Attention to detail is a must
-
Able to work unsupervised
-
Able to stay focused and perform repetitive tasks
-
Able to schedule and prioritize work depending on machine availability and cleaning schedules
-
Assist with plant startup and shutdown
-
Working knowledge of compressors, boilers, scrap blowers, starch mixer, and plant lighting
-
Able to operate all basic machine functions of all equipment in plant to gain access to all PM points
-
Able to perform basic repairs discovered during PM tasks
-
Able to create then follow up on work orders and communicate PM findings to shift supervisor / lead
-
Able to maintain PM supply inventories (oil, grease, batteries, regulator bowl kits, chain, etc.)

Assist with equipment repairs as deemed necessary by shift supervisor / lead
-
Able to look beyond PM tasks and observe all areas in / around PM points to identify other issues not specifically called out on PM list

Ability to navigate work order system to complete work orders and look ahead at upcoming PM schedule dates to make best use of time

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED preferred

A valid, current driver’s license preferred
Working Conditions:
Manufacturing environment working around machinery, moving equipment, and loud noise (hearing protection required), Environment is not climate controlled and there is exposure to a wide range of temperatures (temperature varies depending on work/machine location and ranges from 50 degree F to 100 degree F), Possibility of outside work in all types of weather conditions (including heat, cold, rain, and snow)
