Blue Willow, a Hunan & Szechuan restaurant in Midtown Manhattan, is currently looking for a friendly, professional, and reliable Host/Hostess to join our front-of-house team.
As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you will play an important role in creating a warm and welcoming dining experience.
Responsibilities
● Greet and welcome guests with a warm, professional attitude
● Manage reservations, walk-ins, and the waitlist
● Coordinate table assignments and seating with servers and management
● Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries
● Help maintain a smooth flow of service during busy periods
● Communicate clearly with guests, servers, and management
● Keep the entrance and host area clean and organized
Qualifications
● Friendly, patient, and professional personality
● Strong communication and multitasking skills
● Reliable and punctual
● Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment
● Previous restaurant hosting experience preferred
● Experience with Resy and Toast is a plus
● Ability to speak Mandarin Chinese is a strong plus
Both full-time and part-time positions are available.
