Job Summary:
Just Smokin' Barbecue is looking for a hardworking and dependable BBQ Crew Member to join our team! This position is perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. You’ll be responsible for various tasks, including cashiering, food prep, cleaning, and assisting with our food truck when needed. With plenty of room to grow and train in the BBQ world. If you love BBQ, teamwork, and providing excellent customer service, we’d love to have you on board!
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers, take orders, and process payments at the register
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, portioning, and assembling dishes
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms
- Ensure food safety and proper handling of ingredients
- Stock and restock supplies as needed
- Assist with loading/unloading and working on the food truck (if applicable)
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours a week
- Must be able to lift up to 20-50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is a plus but not required
- Willingness to learn and take on multiple responsibilities
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable transportation (especially for food truck assistance)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
