Qualifications
Required
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Experience teaching literacy and mathematics
- Knowledge of child development and effective instructional practices
- Ability to develop and implement engaging lessons aligned with state standards
- Experience working with diverse student populations
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field (highly desired)
- Valid Teaching Certification (highly desired)
- Previous elementary teaching experience
- Experience supporting students with special education needs
- Experience working with students with autism
- Proficiency using educational technology and digital learning tools
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
Third grade is a year of tremendous growth. Students become more independent learners, tackle more complex academic concepts, strengthen reading comprehension and writing skills, and develop the confidence to take ownership of their learning.
