Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and foster repeat business.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Handle cash transactions, perform cashiering duties, and manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially during busy nightclub or banquet events.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to ensure seamless service during catering, banquet, or food industry functions.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, particularly in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while maintaining high-quality service.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic math for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal regulations; knowledge of brewing processes is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events; previous nightclub or catering experience is advantageous.
