We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in SMAW (Stick) welding and have working knowledge of MIG, TIG, and Flux-Cored welding processes. This role involves fabricating, fitting, and repairing metal components using technical drawings, welding procedures, and fabrication equipment. Candidates must be proficient with welding equipment, cutting torches, and standard hand and power tools. ASME code welding and pressure vessel experience is a plus.
Duties
- Demonstrate proficiency in Stick (SWAW) welding, with working knowledge of TIG, MIG, and Flux‑Cored processes.
- Fabricate and assemble metal components using welding equipment, press brake, machining tools, cutting torches, grinders, and hand/power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, layouts, and welding symbols.
- Fit, set up, position, and tack parts using clamps, jigs, and fixtures.
- Cut, weld, braze, grind, and rebuild worn or defective surfaces.
- Prepare, clean, and position materials, handle workpieces with or without fixtures.
- Operate forklift; perform rigging and ductwork fabrication as needed.
- Select electrodes, set machine parameters, and follow proper welding procedures.
- Use burning equipment for dismantling or cutting material to size.
- Maintain a clean, orderly work area and adhere to all safety practices.
- Work at heights and lift/pull up to 40 lbs. regularly.
- Collaborate with engineers to confirm materials, weld procedures, and rod selection.
- Out-of-area travel may be required based on project needs.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
