Job Overview
As a Tenant Support Specialist, you'll be the on-site champion for our tenants—building relationships, supporting housing stability, and helping residents work toward their personal goals. This is a dynamic, people-focused role in a collaborative team that embraces a Housing First, trauma-informed, and harm-reduction model.
Key Responsibilities
- Nightly presence on-site; support tenants with housing needs
- Provide mentorship on independent living and communication skills
- Facilitate service access: healthcare, benefits, mental health, and more
- Support lease education, mediate disputes, de-escalate crises
- Document tenant progress and collaborate with service providers
- Foster a welcoming, respectful environment for all residents
Requirements
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- 2+ years in human services or customer service (or an associate degree)
- Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and documentation skills
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care and housing support is a plus
- Ability to perform physical tasks and respond to residents' needs on-site
- Must pass background check and have reliable transportation

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
