Job Summary
The quality control technician will inspect raw materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications. This role supports quality reporting, product testing, traceability, and continuous improvement activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Pay
$23 - $26 per hour
Duties
- Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications
- Perform physical and laboratory tests following established quality procedures
- Investigate product defects, quality deviations, and customer complaints while identifying root causes and supporting corrective actions
- Prepare quality certificates and product documentation
- Maintain product and process traceability records
- Record inspection and testing results in ERP and quality systems
- Verify calibration and proper use of measuring and testing equipment
- Support process control activities, quality reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in new product validations and manufacturing trials
Qualifications
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree in chemistry, metallurgy, industrial engineering, chemical engineering, manufacturing technology, or a related technical field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment
- Experience in metal manufacturing, wire, extrusion, automotive, steel, copper, aluminum, or similar industries is highly preferred
- Knowledge of quality inspection methods
- Knowledge of product testing and laboratory procedures
- Knowledge of root cause analysis
- Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC)
- Knowledge of product traceability
- Knowledge of ISO 9001
- Knowledge of ISO 17025 preferred
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or similar
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Advanced English skills
