Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and talented Licensed Hairstylist to join our vibrant salon team! - Booth rental fee is $600 monthly
- First month rent is FREE with a 6 month contract
Responsibilities
- Provide expert hair styling, cutting, coloring, and finishing services tailored to each client’s preferences and hair type
- Perform specialized treatments such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and nail care with precision and care
- Use salon software systems like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and work areas regularly in accordance with industry regulations
- Offer personalized consultations to recommend suitable hair care products and upsell retail items to enhance client satisfaction
- Communicate clearly with clients about their desired looks, hair health tips, and aftercare instructions
- Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing bookings, and supporting store management tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology license or barbering certification required; experience working in the beauty industry is highly preferred
- Proficiency with salon software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms for appointment scheduling and client management
- Strong knowledge of hair care techniques including coloring, styling, cutting, and hair extensions
- Skilled in barbering techniques such as straight razor shaves when applicable
- Familiarity with sanitation protocols and maintaining a clean work environment at all times
- Excellent communication skills for effective client consultation and team collaboration
- Ability to perform additional services like makeup application, threading, eyelash extensions, and nail care is a plus
- Demonstrated experience in retail sales, upselling strategies, retail math understanding, and store management support
