You’ll work a full-time schedule of 35-37 hours per week, with a consistent start time of 8:00am and school days running until 3:45pm, except Wednesdays, which end at 4:30pm. The position commences on July 27th or as soon as possible.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist certification and ability to meet all state requirements
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
- Previous experience in a school environment, preferably with elementary (K-6) students
- Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psycho-educational assessments and develop individualized recommendations for students
- Participate in IEP meetings as a key member of multidisciplinary teams
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote student success
- Deliver counseling and direct support to students as needed
- Support implementation of intervention strategies and positive behavioral support plans
