We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our growing clinical team. This position supports both the clinical and administrative functions of the practice, helping ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality patient care.
Duties
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Document patient histories and update electronic health records
- Assist providers with exams and minor procedures
- Prepare and clean exam rooms and maintain supplies
- Administer injections and medications as directed
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Verify insurance information and assist with patient intake
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and families
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinic or healthcare setting preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and EHR systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
