Duties
- Carefully wash, peel, slice, dice, and prepare a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables according to specified recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Use proper knife skills and slicing techniques to ensure precision and safety during food preparation
- Follow safety standards in production to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food handling best practices
- Adhere to all food safety management protocols, including proper storage, labeling, and sanitation procedures
Experience
- Kitchen experience in restaurants or catering environments will be advantageous
- Familiarity with food handling, food safety standards, and culinary techniques such as slicing and meal preparation is essential
- Knowledge of food industry practices related to safety standards in production and serving environments
- Experience with menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and food service operations will help you excel in this role
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in slicing techniques are necessary for efficient task execution
- Prior involvement in catering or serving roles demonstrates your ability to work quickly while maintaining quality standards
