Field Service Technician
The Wayne Automation Corporation is looking for Field Operations Specialists. Field Operations Specialists have responsibility for installation, training, troubleshooting and repair of our high-speed packaging machinery at our customer’s facilities throughout North America. A Wayne Field Operations Specialist is expected to work with professionalism and integrity to provide and maintain a high level of service and customer satisfaction. Successful individuals will be able to work independently to understand customer concerns, communicate with the customer effectively, and perform electro-mechanical work on the machinery. When not deployed to a customer facility, candidates work on equipment at Wayne Automation’s facility in Norristown PA to assemble, setup, test, and train on production machinery.
Candidates will be trained in the installation, setup, operation and troubleshooting of our machinery. Candidates are expected to have the following attributes at a minimum:
- Mechanical & electrical aptitude as applicable to machinery and willingness to learn.
- Self-starter, works well with a team as well as independently
- Strong work ethic
- Dependable and reliable
- Strong interpersonal and relationship skills
- Communicates effectively both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel
