Maintenance-Mechanic – Industrial MFG/Handyman

Stockman’s is Not Just Concrete but “We’re Outside!” Our Jefferson City new state of the art, fully automated plant is looking for a reliable mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing plant in all areas of maintenance which includes but is not limited to, performing repairs, upgrades and installation of new equipment. This role will also include servicing all company equipment and vehicles. Additionally, maintaining a clean and safe work environment while following all safety protocols is crucial.
Responsibilities/Duties:
You will look alongside the lead mechanic to complete a variety of maintenance and repair tasks throughout the property.
· Perform repairs and maintenance on all manufacturing equipment.
· Support installation of all new equipment as needed.
· Demonstrate ability to identify and determine parts needed for repairs.
· Demonstrate the ability to communicate well with operators and management on daily maintenance needs and priorities.
· Keep work area clean and organized.
· Troubleshoot issues with plant machinery.
· Repair molds and use appropriate mod setup procedures.
· Replace or repair bearings and related parts.
· Basic wiring skills.
· Must perform welding in various positions, locations and weld various types of joints.
· Replace equipment parts with proper instructions and tools.
· Understand equipment operations to be able to effectively and safely start equipment to perform maintenance tasks.
· Perform all maintenance on equipment and tools within the specified safety requirements and company procedures.
· Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by company or its designated representatives.
· Attend safety meetings and abide by all the safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
· Predictable and regular attendance is required. Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Requirements:
· High School diploma or GED equivalent
· Previous experience in welding and machinery maintenance.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
· Basic wiring and electrical skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift materials and operate machinery.
· Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
· Willingness to follow safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment.
· Basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.

· $22.00 - $30.00
