Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Middle School Math Teacher to inspire and empower students in their mathematical journey. Duties

- Teach a variety of math subjects including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, discrete math, and differential equations to middle school students.
- Assess student progress through regular quizzes, standardized tests, projects, and formative assessments; provide constructive feedback to support growth.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment that respects diverse cultural backgrounds and learning styles.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional strategies, and school-wide initiatives to ensure consistent educational quality.
- Integrate IT tools and digital resources into lessons to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Support students’ individual needs through tutoring, mentoring, and differentiated instruction while adhering to educational compliance regulations.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of advanced math topics such as trigonometry, calculus, organic chemistry (as it relates to biochemistry), genetics, molecular biology, microbiology, cell biology, biochemistry, and laboratory research techniques.
- Proven experience in classroom management and implementing effective behavior management strategies.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with students from diverse backgrounds, parents, colleagues, and administrators.
- Proficiency in educational technology integration and instructional design tailored for middle school learners.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and special education needs.
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, proofreading materials, and ensuring educational compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a team of educators dedicated to continuous improvement and student success.
- Background in higher education teaching or research laboratory experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for scientific research is valued.

Pay: $48,769.29 - $58,732.91 per year
