Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision, flair, and adherence to all food safety and responsible serving policies
- Manage POS system, specifically Clover, to process orders accurately and efficiently during closing hours
- Handle cashing out registers, balancing cash drawers, and completing end-of-shift reports with accuracy using retail math and basic math skills
- Clean and sanitize bar equipment, glassware, and work areas to uphold health standards and ensure a welcoming environment for guests
- Assist in closing procedures including securing liquor stock, locking storage areas, and completing nightly inventory counts
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally, addressing their needs promptly, and creating a lively yet safe atmosphere
- Maintain compliance with food handling regulations and alcohol service laws while managing the bar’s closing responsibilities
Experience
- Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of POS system is essential for efficient transaction processing during closing shifts
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced environments with multiple responsibilities at once
- Experience in food service or hospitality roles that require excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service laws is necessary
- Previous catering or banquet experience is a plus for managing large groups or special events during closing hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math for inventory counts, and accurate financial reconciliation are required
