Job Overview
We are seeking a professional CDL Driver to operate container freight short hauls and local in and out the Georgia ports.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions across assigned routes
- Deliver freight efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety Maintain.
- Follow route schedules precisely to meet delivery deadlines
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes
Skills
- Valid CDL license with a clean driving record
- Experience operating manual transmission trucks
- Proven experience in freight delivery and route driving.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial trucking
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and customer service
- Ability to manage time effectively for timely deliveries
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $800.00 - $1,500.00 per week
