Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals including short order foods according to established recipes and menu plans
- Assist with menu planning and shopping local to source from the community that we continue to support each and every day.
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Support food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including equipment and utensils
- Ensure timely meal service while adhering to quality standards and safety regulations
- Must be available for nights and weekends
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, or restaurant kitchens preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Experience with Fryer and flat top grills are a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with the food industry standards for cleanliness, safety, and quality assurance
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions precisely
- Time management skills are a plus.
- Must be 18 years of age
