American Traveler is seeking a travel LPN/LVN with IV certification and Level I Trauma experience for a night shift Medical-Surgical assignment at a large, short-term acute care hospital.

Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)

Patient ratio of 1:7 under a team nursing model, with support from PCCs, RNs, and other staff

On-call required as needed

Weekend coverage required as needed

Cerner EMR experience preferred
-
Current LPN/LVN license in compliance with NLC guidelines required (license required if applicable)

Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical experience required; 3+ years preferred

IV certification is a firm requirement

Level I Trauma experience required

Large hospital experience required
-
Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers are not eligible unless they have 3+ years of recent experience

ADN or higher required

Current BLS certification required

Valid driver's license required

Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration and will not be approved if submitted afterward

If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's fall within the assignment period, the traveler must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 holidays; if only 2 holidays fall within the assignment, at least 1 must be covered

Former permanent employees and internal associate travelers must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible to return

Block scheduling is not accommodated; a weekend block schedule may be considered

Vaccination status must be provided
