Essential Job Duties:
- Pull parts from inventory to fulfill production work orders, repair orders, and customer shipments.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, and condition before staging or issuing materials.
- Stage, label, and deliver parts to designated production or shipping areas.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and verify against packing slips or purchase orders.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated bin locations, maintaining accurate system records.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and storage areas.
- Assist with inventory control activities including cycle counts, bin checks, and audits.
- Communicate discrepancies, shortages, or damaged materials to supervisors promptly.
Additional Job Duties:
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and internal transfers.
- Support other warehouse functions such as put-away, staging, and shipping as needed.
- Help maintain accurate documentation, including pull tickets, packing slips, and inventory logs.
- Participate in inventory counts.
- Provide basic customer service to internal teams and external customers when needed.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of warehouse/forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as pick tickets and packing lists.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory systems.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and transition between competing tasks efficiently.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with parts pulling, order picking, or inventory systems.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Strong organizational skills and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Demands:
- Returning items to stock, lifting frequently up to 25lbs and occasionally up to 50lbs.
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
- Use hands for handling materials and operating equipment.
- Push and pull cars, pallets, and materials as needed.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
