Overview
Banquet Prep Cook and Dishwasher for high end event venue in Mendon, MA. Grand View offers panoramic water views and a spectacular setting for private events which can accommodate 100 to 250 guests comfortably. Our luxurious event space is nestled upon 8 acres of land and has recently undergone an extensive renovation earning its reputation as one of the most beautiful properties in the north-east region with the service and cuisine to match. Dishwasher experience is a plus! That being said, we are willing to train highly motivated candidates looking to work in a positive environment. This is a part-time position with full time hours available in peak season and part time hours available in the off season.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
- Safe use of supplies and equipment
- Collect used kitchenware from kitchen areas
- Load and unload dish washing machines; wash specific items by hand (pots, pans, delicate china and equipment that cannot be machine washed)
- Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment properly
- Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils
- May assist in preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving, as directed
- Ensures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation.
- Maintain a sanitary work area as required by local health department
- Check operation of dish washing machines, promptly report and issues
- Remove trash regularly· Wash and sanitize dish area, including surfaces, equipment, trash bins and floors
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Support events or banquet setups by providing timely food prep assistance and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready
Requirements:
Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
Must be at least 16 years old.
Pay will reflect experience and availability.
