Join our Information Systems team today! As an I.S. Help Desk Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation and maintenance of computer systems. Must be 18+ years old to apply.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Answers help calls and assists end user’s in resolving problems.
Functions as the first contact help desk troubleshooter.
Performs lead operator functions in support of operational systems.
Processes user requests for reports and answer questions from users.
Installs, supports and upgrades computer hardware and software.
Troubleshoots PC and network hardware and software problems.
Assists with network administration and backup functions.
Assists with troubleshooting network infrastructure problems and working with others from Corporate Information Systems and online support to resolve issues.
Complies with all confidentiality and company rules, policies, and mandates.
Performs all job duties in a safe/responsible manner.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent; prefer college courses in computer science or information systems management, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must have previous computer experience with knowledge of Windows 2000 operating system, PC application software including the Microsoft Office Suite.
Previous experience or training on Windows Server 2003 and SCO Unix a plus.
Must have working knowledge of personal computers in a Microsoft Windows environment.
Must have full availability including weekends, evenings and holidays.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision.
Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
