Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and cooking, following established recipes and standards to ensure quality and consistency.
- Support meal assembly, plating, and presentation to meet customer expectations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, including proper food handling, storage practices, and sanitation procedures.
- Help with menu planning and ingredient sourcing to ensure freshness and variety.
- Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to uphold a safe working environment.
- Aid in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members during catering events or large orders to ensure timely service and excellent food quality.
Qualifications
- Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is key!
- Previous restaurant, culinary, or kitchen experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices.
- Skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, knife handling, and meal assembly.
- Familiarity with menu planning, food industry standards, and catering operations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.75 per hour
