Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Director to lead and oversee clinical operations within our addiction and mental health services program. This critical role is responsible for the delivery and oversight of substance use disorder and behavioral health treatment services, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards, including The Joint Commission (JCAHO).The Clinical Director will provide strategic and operational leadership to multidisciplinary clinical teams, including therapists, counselors, and medical staff, to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care across all levels of treatment. Responsibilities include overseeing clinical programming, maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations, supporting utilization review processes, and ensuring proper documentation and clinical integrity.The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong background in addiction and mental health treatment, proven leadership experience, and a thorough understanding of regulatory and accreditation standards. This role requires a commitment to fostering a collaborative, trauma-informed environment that promotes recovery, patient safety, and continuous quality improvement.
Duties
- Lead the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures aligned with healthcare regulations and JCAHO accreditation standards.
- Oversee daily clinical operations, ensuring efficient delivery of medical services across departments.
- Manage medical management initiatives to optimize patient outcomes, resource utilization, and quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality patient care.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation requirements while maintaining rigorous documentation practices.
- Provide leadership in staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development for clinical personnel.
- Act as a liaison between executive leadership, clinical staff, patients, and external regulatory agencies to promote transparency and accountability.
- Recruits and interviews new clinical employees and maintains hiring responsibility for all staff.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of JCAHO accreditation standards and healthcare compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams effectively.
- Demonstrates Proficiency in Communication and Writing Skills
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration among staff, patients, and external partners.
- Management experience in a fast paced environment with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality laws
- LCADC/CCS Required, LAC, LSW, LCSW, LPC Preferred
Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
