WE ARE HIRING – WINDOW COVERING INSTALLERS
Boise Shade Company is hiring Window Covering Installers ready to learn how to install custom blinds, shades and shutters. No prior experience required. Looking for dependable individuals, motivated to learn the trade with strong work ethics. Our company provides opportunities to learn the window treatment trade from the best pros in the industry.
As an installer, you are teamed up with a seasoned professional and are responsible for traveling to customer locations and installing a variety of window coverings such as blinds, shades and shutters according to company standards and manufacturer specifications.
Day-to-day tasks include reviewing work orders, loading and organizing products and tools, performing installations safely, and ensuring that finished work is clean, secure, and operates correctly. Installers will document completed work, report any product or site challenges, and collaborate with the office team to ensure timely and high-quality service.
As you progress toward an experienced installer role, you will take the lead with communicating with customers on-site, answering basic product questions, and addressing minor adjustments or issues during installation.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Assist experienced installers and learn installation techniques through hands-on training
- Maintain clean, organized and safe job sites and installation vehicles
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders
- Proficient use of hand drills & saws
- Flexible to changing work conditions and assignments
- Develop the skills necessary to to become an Experienced Installer
- Valid Idaho driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Standard background check
