We are seeking a customer-focused, detail-oriented professional to join our parts department team. In this role, you will help support both retail and internal customers by identifying, sourcing, and providing automotive parts in a fast-paced dealership environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has strong organizational skills, and takes pride in delivering accurate, timely service.
- Assist retail, wholesale, and internal customers with parts inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
- Identify and locate automotive parts using catalogs, systems, and product knowledge.
- Process parts orders, invoices, returns, and exchanges accurately.
- Maintain effective communication with service advisors, technicians, and other team members.
- Receive, stock, and organize incoming parts shipments.
- Monitor inventory levels and support cycle counts and stock checks as needed.
- Ensure parts are properly labeled, stored, and handled according to dealership procedures.
- Provide prompt follow-up on special orders and customer requests.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts counter area.
- Support overall departmental goals and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Previous experience in an automotive parts, retail, or customer service role is preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories is helpful.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and comfort using inventory or point-of-sale systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift, move, and stock parts as required.
