Job Description
6 Star Trucking Inc. is hiring experienced Class A CDL Semi-Truck Drivers. We have Pennsylvania-to-Ohio routes and local driving opportunities available. Drivers may operate automatic or manual transmission trucks depending on availability and experience.
Applicants must have at least three years of commercial truck-driving experience, a valid Class A CDL, and a clean driving record.
Compensation
- Pennsylvania-to-Ohio routes: $0.60 per mile
- Local routes: $1,500 per week
- Pay schedule and route details will be discussed during the interview
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer on assigned routes
- Pick up and deliver freight on time
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Follow all DOT and company safety regulations
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork
- Communicate with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries, delays, and equipment concerns
- Keep the truck clean and report maintenance issues promptly
- Secure freight properly and verify load information
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Minimum of three years of commercial truck-driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass required drug and alcohol testing
- Valid DOT medical card
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and electronic logging devices
- Dependable, responsible, and professional
- Ability to drive an automatic or manual transmission preferred
